Will it fit my chargers cable?
The ClearStow™ Charger Protector will fit most home wall EV charging devices as well as portable charging devices. The inner diameter of the protector is 0.76cm or 0.3in allowing for suggested fitting onto cables upto 1.9cm or 0.75in. The length of the protectors is 20cm or 8in allowing for a total of 40cm of cable protection under your garage door if both protectors provided are installed.
What is the protector made of?
Our Charger Protectors are made of a sturdy but flexible rubber allowing for enhanced protection against the crushing power of a garage door as well as resiting friction when pressed against the ground. The flexible nature of rubber makes our protectors easy enough to slip on whilst maintaining a tight grip on the cable ensuring the protector stays where you want it.
Will my garage door still be able to close fully?
The thickness of the rubber is 0.51cm or 0.2in ensuring minimal extra thickness is added onto your charging cable when installed. This allows your garage door to fully shut with minimal gaps.
